The deputy PM made the comments at a meeting on Friday in Hanoi with Eurocham Chairman Michael Bahren and Head of Head of Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam Bruno Angelet and leading EU firms in Vietnam.
The deputy PM also suggested the Eurocham and EU delegation continue working with European businesses to strengthen links with the business community in Vietnam.
The Eurocham chairman said that European investors have expressed optimism about the Vietnamese market and the desire to increase investment in the country. He also pledged to actively support the ratification of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement in all member states.
