The meeting gathered leaders from various central agencies, ministries, universities, and research institutes, along with the publisher’s staff. It was also connected online to its branches and book distribution centres nationwide.
Vu Trong Lam, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House, reported on the publisher’s 2024 achievements and outlined key directions for 2025. In the past year, the publishing house released 648 books (111.7% compared to 2023), including significant political and theoretical works. It expanded collaborations with ministries, provincial Party committees, and universities while advancing research and hosting high-quality national and international scientific seminars. Digital transformation efforts also saw initial success.
Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasised the vital role of political and theoretical books in society and praised the publisher’s contributions. He urged it to strengthen its leadership, innovate content and formats, and publish influential works supporting the Party’s policies. Key priorities include producing comprehensive books on Party doctrines and the 40-year journey of national renewal, aligning with the upcoming Party Congress.
On behalf of the publishing house, its leadership reaffirmed their commitment to overcoming challenges and maintaining its status as Vietnam’s leading political and theoretical publishing institution.
