Eleven Vietnamese universities rank among QS’s top Asian universities for 2022

VTV.vn - Eleven Vietnamese universities have been listed in the QS Asia University Rankings 2022 (QS AUR), as released by the UK’s higher education marketing company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

The highest ranking in Vietnam went to Ton Duc Thang University at 142nd, followed by the Vietnam National University - Hanoi at 147th, and the Vietnam National University- Ho Chi Minh City at 179th place.

The list also includes the Duy Tan University at 210th, while the Hanoi University of Science and Technology placed between 301st and 350th, the Hue University between and 401st and 450th, Can Tho University and Da Nang University between 501st and 550th, the Hanoi National University of Education and the University of Economy in Ho Chi Minh between 551st and 600th, and the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City between 601st and 650th.

The QS Asia University Rankings 2022 compares 675 universities across the continent and is QS's most extensive independent comparison of the region's higher education systems.

The table accounts for eleven key indicators of university performance, which capture academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, international research network, citations per paper, papers per faculty, staff with a PhD, proportion of international faculty and proportion of international students, and proportion of inbound exchange students and proportion of outbound exchange students.

This year, the National University of Singapore (NUS) was named as Asia’s best university in the list, followed by Nanyang Technological University of Singapore NTU.
