Eight more pangasius factories to be allowed to export to the US

The National Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has just asked the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) to recognise eight pangasius manufacturing factories in Vietnam as qualified to export to the US.

So far, there are 21 factories awaiting recognition by the FSIS. According to the National Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department, FSIS has recognized 45 pangasius manufacturing factories in Vietnam up to now.
