EIB to support Vietnam in climate change response

At the meeting, the Vice President affirms that the EU bank will further cooperate with Vietnam in dealing with a number of issues, including climate change.

In recent years, the EIB has also financed small scale climate-related investments, including renewable energy projects and energy-efficient use in industry, in partnership with Vietnamese banks. Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung also thanked the European Investment Bank for supporting construction of new urban rail infrastructure in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh.
