So far, the Vietnam Post Corporation (VPC) has collected the data of nearly 1 million graves of martyrs, spanning 3,000 cemeteries across the country.
The data has been transferred to the Ministry of Information and Communications, and is now accessible for public queries through the e-portal, thongtinlietsi.gov.vn. However, there are still hindrances in finding another 200,000 fallen soldiers, who have been resting across Vietnam and even in the border areas of Laos and Cambodia.
At the ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Pham Minh Chinh, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Organization Commission, presented the national certificates indicating the homeland's recognition of services and contributions to the nation to 442 martyrs' families.
