VTV.vn - Vietnam’s E-Government Information Sharing and Monitoring System made its debut on November 29, as part of the activities under the Vietnam Information Security Day 2019.

Launched by the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) to serve e-government development in Vietnam, the system will help monitor and analyse information from which to share and give early warnings to the relevant ministries, agencies and localities to ensure network security for e-government.

The MIC said that up to now, there have been 31 ministries, sectors and localities that have successfully connected to the National Cyber Security Monitoring Centre.

After a 6-month trial period, when it is officially put into operation, the system will be expanded nationwide, said the ministry.

Currently, the MIC is focusing on promoting the development of Vietnam’s network information security products and businesses. Solutions and services of enterprises will be connected and shared on the system, laying the foundation for the development of an e-government, smart cities and national key information systems.
