E-commerce floors to pay taxes for individual sellers
VTV.vn - Starting August 1, e-commerce platforms will have to pay taxes on behalf of traders. This is a new provision specified in Circular No. 40 that the Ministry of Finance has just issued.
Specifically, the platforms must be responsible for declaring and paying taxes on behalf of sellers and following the tax authority's guidelines.
During the first period when declarations or payments cannot be made, e-commerce platforms must provide information on the business activities of sellers at the request of the tax authority.
