In the past 8 months, durian export turnover has reached 1.2 billion USD, accounting for one-thirds of the country's total fruit and vegetable export turnover and 3 times higher than last year's figures.
China is still the top importer of Vietnam’s durians. Vietnamese durian has been exported to 24 countries and territories.
Currently, the Plant Protection Department is also completing procedures to export durian to India.
