Dung Quat bio-ethanol resumes operations

VTV.vn - Dung Quất Bio-Ethanol Plant, one of 12 inefficient projects that cost millions of dollars to build and maintain, has resumed operations after three years of suspension.

Around 8.5 million USD was spent every year to maintain the plant during the suspension. Resuming its operations is the first step towards divesting the state capital in this project.

However, they are now the main source of revenue for recovering production costs. Changes such as this is what will help the plant operate more efficiently.
