Drug-Free School Competition for Middle and High School Students

Department C04 of the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Department of Science and Education Programs and Vietnam Television to organize the "Drug-Free School" contest for middle and high school students nationwide.

The program aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to recognize hidden and disguised types of drugs and to protect themselves and those around them from the dangers of drugs.

The Vietnam National Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (C04), Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Department of Science and Education, Vietnam Television, will organize the Drug-Free School Contest for middle and high school students. This is a nationwide contest that aims to spread the message of "Say no to drugs and let's join hands to repel them" to all students and young people in the country.

The 2023 Drug-Free Schools Contest is expected to be held in middle and high schools in five provinces and cities: Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Lang Son and Nam Dinh.

Each province and city will select 3 high schools and 3 middle schools to participate in the competition. In each province and city, the organizing committee will film two programs corresponding to two competitions: one program will have 3 high school teams competing against each other, and the other will have 3 middle school teams competing against each other. Each team will consist of 3 students selected by their school.

On November 4, the first competition will be held in Hanoi with 3 teams from Nghia Tan High School, Cau Giay; Dich Vong Hau High School, Cau Giay High School and Chuc Son, Chuong My District.

The Drug-Free School competition is expected to be broadcast on VTV2 channel from November 2023.
