Ha, a Thanh Hoa-born girl, defeated 34 others contestants in the finale to clinch the trophy.
Ha is studying business law at National Economics University in Hanoi. With measurements 80-6-90, the 1.75m tall student was one of the 2020 pageant hopefuls of the contest.
She won trust of the jury and spectators through the contest’ segments, notching up the victory in agreement.
The jury also named finalists Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh and Nguyen Le Ngoc Thao as first and second runners-up of the pageant.
Miss Vietnam 2020 is considered a special event in the history of the contest run by Tien Phong (Vanguard) newspaper.
Organisers were under great pressure as the COVID-19 risk remains imminent and central Vietnam has been ravaged by natural disasters during the past two months.
However, with high resolve, the two-month long contest was a great success, with the finale taking place in Ho Chi Minh City on November 20, living up to public expectations.
