Dioxin decontamunation completed in Danang
VTV.vn - The decontamination of dioxin in Danang Airport has been completed, concluded an assessment carried out by the National Steering Committee for post-war consequences of unexploded ordnance and toxic chemicals and the US Agency for International Development.
After more than 7 years of implementation, the project of dioxin decontamination in Danang Airport has completely cleansed 90 thousand cubic meters of contaminated soil and safely stored 50 thousand cubic meters of soil with low dioxin levels. 32 ha of land has been readied for the expansion of the Danang Airport and local socioeconomic development.
