VTV.vn - For the first time, the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts introduced digital copies of almost 30 Hungarian and European fine art masterpieces at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi, on Septeber 20.

The exhibition is jointly organised by the Embassy of Hungary in Hanoi and the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, introducing the digital copies of almost 30 Hungarian and European fine art masterpieces from the collection of the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts - reputed to be among Europe's most prominent museums.

The exhibition aims to bring the unique masterpieces of El Greco, Bruegel, Raffaello and Dürer and the rich Hungarian fine arts heritage represented by the works of Mihály Munkácsy, Pál Szinyei Merse, and János Rippl-Rónai closer to Vietnamese audiences.

The digital exhibition includes interactive panels providing the audience with Hungarian and European artworks experience and might improve the benefits of accessibility and engagement.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr Nguyen Anh Minh, Director of the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, emphasised that this is a cultural event of great significance, contributing to bringing famous masterpieces of European masters closer to the Vietnamese public and art lovers.

In particular, the interactive screens in this digital exhibition help bring new experiences to the public when visiting the exhibition and enjoying the works.

The exhibition is open until September 25 at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.
