Devoted veterinarian rescues wild animals
VTV.vn - In recent years, Vietnam has made progress in combating the illegal wildlife trade, thanks to contributions from organizations and individuals who are actively involved in rescuing trapped animals, as well as promoting conservation work.

Veterinarian Tran Ngoc Anh is considered the savior of wildlife. A work day in the rescue center is full of the cries of injured animals, but it is also full of love, care, and devotion, aimed at healing the pain those animals have to suffer.

Tran Ngoc Anh, Rescue Center, Conservation & Development Creatures, Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park said: The animals here were mostly injured by traps. Some have their bones or joints sawed and removed. There are animals that we have to take care of at night, some others during the day.

Since its establishment in 2003, Phong Nha Kẻ Bàng National Park has treated and returned thousands of wild animals to nature. The vet has worked in the center for nearly 10 years, witnessing much pain.

"The most painful situation is when the babies lose their parents because of hunting. Traces of traps are also horrible. It cripples the animals.", Tran Ngoc Anh added.

Dinh Huy Tri, Vice Director, Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park said: The rescue center plays a crucial role in protecting biological values. Doctor Trần Ngọc Anh is a typical individual who has made so many contributions toward the mission of the center.

More than anything is the affection vet Trần Ngọc Anh feels towards the animals. Every time he sends the poor animals to the forest, he hopes they will be safe and enjoy nature. These efforts have contributed to the work of stopping the wildlife trade in Vietnam
