VTV.vn - Within the framework of National Brand Week 2018, Vietnam Brand Day was held this morning.

With the theme "Developing Brands in Integration and Sustainable Exports Growth", delegates discussed export opportunities for Vietnamese brands and international experiences in developing brands.

The event was held amidst the increasing demand for prominent Vietnamese brands as the CPTPP will lower the import tax to zero percent for many categories, thereby opening markets for prestigious international brands.

Experts believe that Vietnam needs to have its own popular brands in this competitive environment, just like Japan has Honda and Toyota; the Germans have BMW and Mercesdes; and South Korea has Samsung.
