VTV.vn - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang chaired an online meeting with localities on the progress of implementing three national target programmes on March 8.

The Deputy PM asked localities to promote the responsibility of leaders and assign tasks to individuals in charge, following the spirit of the Party's policies and resolutions; review documents under its promulgation authority, especially after the National Assembly issued Resolutions No. 108/2023/QH15 and No. 111/2024/QH15.

With recent efforts, the three programmes have never had such a favourable legal framework as they do now. The NA has allowed each locality to have two districts to pilot "mixed capital" programmes so that the country has 104 pilot districts for localities to do, from which to draw experience in implementing the programmes.

Appreciating localities' commitment to the disbursement of 100% of capital plans, including non-business capital, the Deputy Prime Minister requested localities to pay attention to both progress and quality, as well as ensure accuracy and efficiency and avoid loss and waste.

In 2024, the total capital plan for the three programmes will reach more than 72 trillion VND. The disbursement results of the capital plan assigned in the first two months of 2024 (excluding extended capital from previous years) are estimated to reach over 3.2 trillion VND, reaching 12% of the plan, higher than the general public investment capital disbursement rate of the country.
