Meeting with representatives of the bishop’s palace of the Diocese of Lang Son - Cao Bang Diocese and My Son Parish (Lang Son City), Deputy PM Tran Luu Quang offered the best wishes to bishops, priests, pastors, and Catholic and Protestant followers.
He affirmed that the Party and State consistently respect and ensure citizens' right to freedom of belief and religion, meet legitimate rights and interests of religions, and create conditions for religious followers to practice religions, contributing to consolidating the great national unity bloc for development.
He asked bishops, priests, pastors, and Catholic and Protestant followers to continue to abide by the Party’s and State’s guidelines, policies and laws, consolidating the national great unity bloc.
The Deputy PM also expressed his hope that Catholic and Protestant followers will carry forward the patriotic tradition, continue to march together with the nation and lead a good life, both secularly and religiously, thus practically contributing to national construction and defence.
