David Bowie’s album tops the music charts

Lazarus was released just 2 days before the passing of Bowie. David Bowie died on January 10^th at the age of 69 from cancer. One week later, the album topped the Billboard Chart.

Along with Lazarus, his 9 other albums also appeared on the Billboard 200 Chart, including Best of Bowie – the collection of his greatest hits.

Blackstar – Bowie’s last and latest single – has peaked in the first place in UK with 150.000 copies. There are also over 500.000 copies of other hits are sold this week. Bowie’s 19 previous albums are in top 100.
