This is OFID's 20th project loan to Vietnam, bringing Vietnam's total lending to 217 milion USD. Vietnam government's policy of strengthening public debt management to ensure a safe and sustainable national finance has been conducted through re-lending to local authorities. The authorities of Vinh Phuc province will use the OFID loan to implement Dam Vac Bridge project. OFID Director-General said his organisation would continue to provide financial support for socio-economic development projects in Vietnam.
