This clearly shows that the Danang International Fireworks Festival 2017 has contributed significantly to the development of the city. After nearly two months, DIFF (Da Nang International Fireworks Festival) 2017 with the theme "Light the Marble Mountains" has experienced four colorful nights with many brilliant activities and has brought a festive atmosphere to Danang. In the first five months of the year, the number of visitors to Da Nang was over 2.5 million, of which over 1 million were international visitors.
Along with the international fireworks festival, a series of events has made Da Nang the center of this year's tourist season. There are events such as the opening of the sea tourism season, the summer rendezvous, street dance, and food festival. To help support these events many direct flights have opened from Hong kong , Seoul, Daegu, and Bangkok.
Total tourism revenue in the first 5 months is estimated at over 330 mil USD, an increase of 38% - an impressive figure showing the initial success of Da Nang on the way to making tourism their leading economic sector.
