The opening ceremony featured songs, dances, and short plays praising the natural beauty, culture, and history of Ninh Binh Province as well as its encouraging achievements during the integration and developmental process.
The festival is one of the activities celebrating the 1050th anniversary of the establishment of Dai Co Viet State. On this occasion, the province received the Prime Minister's recognition of the 17th Century imperial beds as national treasures.
During the festival, many major activities will be held including an art exhibition and art performances.
