With the advantage of having a system including 12 international and national border gates and sub-border gates, in the coming years, Lang Son will focus on rapidly developing the border gate economy, creating momentum to promote the province’s economic growth.
With an area of 394km2, Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone is identified as the key economic driving force of the province in particular and the Northeast region in general. In particular, in the 2016-2025 period, the provincial border economic zone was selected by the Government as one of the important border economic zones to focus on investment and development from the state budget.
