COVID-19: Global cases 1.85 million, deaths exceed 115,000

VTV.vn - Most countries around the world are now considering strengthening and tightening disease control measures, now that the spread of COVID-19 is showing no signs of stopping.
The number of people infected worldwide has reached 1.85 million while the death toll topped the 115,000 mark. The United States is the country with the highest number of cases and deaths caused by the disease.
Among the top 10 countries with the most cases, seven of them are in Europe. Southeast Asia has a total of about 19,000 cases and more than 800 deaths.
