Containers of black pepper stuck in Nepal

According to businesses, they are still "stuck" and can't return to Vietnam even though the Nepalese government has agreed to re-export them.

Due to the complicated procedures for re-exporting, Vietnamese businesses have suffered heavy losses.

The consignment has been stuck for more than four months and the cost has exceeded 50% of the value of the shipment. This doesn't include the cost of hiring a customs agent or a service company to carry out re-export procedures.
