Conference on Vietnam - EU FTA

Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium Vũ Anh Quang emphasized Vietnam's commitment to ensuring a transparent business environment for European firms. On his part, Bruno Angelet, head of the Delegation of the EU to Vietnam, said that to maximize the benefits of the FTA, Vietnam needs to promote intellectual property protection and compliance with the EU's standards for agricultural produce. The EU did not use trade barriers to rebalance trade, but built a bridge to connect to Vietnamese partners through the FTA, which is considered a beneficial solution for all parties.
