Delegates attending the artistic program Command from the Heart
Eighty-one years, a glorious journey for the heroic Vietnam People’s Army. Words issue commands, and there are also silent commands that resonate from the heartbeat of the soldier. These commands are ones of loyalty, sacrifice, and a strength passed down through generations. That journey was vividly portrayed in Command from the Heart through three thematic chapters: “Spirit Forged in Red Fire”, “Mission in Times of Peace”, and “An Oath to Build a Prosperous Nation”.
Throughout its more than eight decades of formation, construction, combat, and growth, the Vietnam People’s Army has continued to uphold its proud traditions, becoming a firm pillar of support for the Party, the State, and the people. Beyond safeguarding national sovereignty, the army stands side by side with the people in economic, cultural, and social development, supporting poverty reduction and the elimination of temporary and dilapidated housing. Notably, military officers and soldiers are at the forefront of disaster prevention, epidemic response, and search and rescue operations, ready to deploy in the most critical and hazardous areas.
