Cho Ray Hospital honoured with First-Class Independence Order

VTV.vn - Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Truong Son presented the First-Class Independence Order to the Ho Chi Minh City-based Cho Ray Hospital in recognition of its outstanding achievements in recent years.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, held on January 14, the health official highlighted the efforts, contributions and achievements of the hospital in 2021 despite the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We have seen a challenging year, with unforgettable experiences for the healthcare sector. We highly appreciate the quality of human resources of Cho Ray Hospital through the many times joining hands with localities in the fight against the pandemic. We also believe that with the solidarity and consensus of its Party Committee, Board of Directors and staff, Cho Ray Hospital will continue to record new achievements, and safely adapt to and overcome the difficulties caused by the pandemic,” Deputy Minister Nguyen Truong Son noted.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Truong Son also presented the Second-Class Labour Order to five individuals of Cho Ray Hospital, the Third-Class Labour Order to nine collectives and five individuals, and the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to 26 individuals.

In addition, two doctors at Cho Ray Hospital were honoured with the “People’s Doctor” title while 47 others were honoured with the “Meritorious Doctor” title.

Director of Cho Ray Hospital Nguyen Tri Thuc said that the hospital will continue to implement many important goals in 2022, including maintaining a safe adaptation to the pandemic and maintaining the operation of two COVID-19 resuscitation centres and the COVID-19 Resuscitation Hospital.

Specifically, the hospital will continue to focus on promoting specialised techniques, smart techniques, training high-quality human resources, and strengthening professional support for frontline hospitals.
