Chile withdraws from hosting APEC & COP 25

He cited ongoing protests as the reason for cancelling the upcoming international summits. It's been early two weeks since the nationwide protests over economic inequality left 20 dead, hundreds injured and damaged businesses and infrastructure around the country. The APEC summit was scheduled to take place on November 16-17, while the UN Climate Change Conference COP25 was scheduled to take place from December 2-13.
