Children of Peace is a special program made by Vietnam Television on the occasion of the month of gratitude to the heroes, fallen and wounded soldiers who sacrificed their youth, health and happiness in the fight for peace. The show helps viewers see how Vietnamese fought for and preserve the peace despite having gone through many wars.
With the theme "Father, Son and Peace", the program consists of 3 main parts: Father's Seeds of Hope, Child's Dreams of Peace and Children of Peace. This is like a museum of memory with every layer of stories corresponding to each historical milestone of the nation's struggle.
It was the story of a special family, where all the kids make war movies. The older brother, Le Chi Dung, was born in 1950, was a cinematographer and producer of the film Mother's Trip. The second brother is the writer Le Huu Dung.
In the museum of memory, amidst the sound of bombshells and gun fire, there are the melodies that have brought many Vietnamese together. The program has the participation of many guests, who are historical witnesses telling their own stories.
The program "Children of Peace" will be broadcast at 8:10 p.m. today (July 25) on VTV1.
