At the ceremony, a delegation, led by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh, offered incense in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at Van Mieu Tran Bien national historical site in Bien Hoa city.
He pledged that the Party Committee, authorities and people of Dong Nai province will stay united to successfully realise goals set at the resolution of the 11th provincial Party Congress and contribute to the national development.
The ceremony is held annually on the 21st day of the seventh lunar month at Van Mieu Tran Bien national historical site, in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh’s death anniversary.
The organisation of the event rotates annually among the management boards of temples in Bien Hoa city. This year’s ceremony was hosted by the management board of Tan Ban temple, in Buu Hoa ward.
