VTV.vn - The Central Military Commission, the highest party organ in Vietnam on military policy, held a meeting to appoint a number of posts on Tuesday morning at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defence.

The Central Military Commission, the highest party organ in Vietnam on military policy, held a meeting to appoint a number of posts on Tuesday morning at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defence. Party General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng chaired the event.

Participants included Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc, and other top leaders from ministries and agencies. On behalf of the Central Military Commission, head of the Central Organising Committee Phạm Minh Chính announced the appointments. 

23 officials, including Party General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng serving as the secretary and Minister of Defence Ngô Xuân Lịch as the Deputy Secretary of the commission, will hold office until 2020.
