Cell therapy to treat cancer

VTV.vn - In the framework of the 24th Vietnam International Medical and Pharmaceutical Exhibition (Vietnam MEDI-PHARM 2017), a conference was held to discuss cancer treatments via the immune system and stem cell transplant.
The event attracted the participation of experts and doctors from Japan's Helene Centre for Stem Cell Biology, and hospitals in Vietnam.
The conference aims to provide an overview of new cancer treatments, including immune cell therapy. Cell therapy is currently used in treating malignant tumours in the stomach, breast, lung, liver, kidney, and colon, among others.
