The city also plans to subsidize 50 percent of the monthly fare for students, workers from industrial parks, and senior citizens. Officials and employees working outside industrial zones would get a discount of 30 percent if they buy group monthly tickets.
The free ticket period will start when the railway line is officially put into commercial operation. After this period, passengers will be able to buy monthly tickets for 8.61 USD or daily tickets for 1.29 USD which both allow unlimited trips.
Single trips will cost up to 0.65 US cents per person depending on the distance traveled. The trains will run continuously from 5 am to 11 pm every day. Each train has four carriages that are capable of carrying over 900 passengers.
