The Science and Education Department team has designed a virtual shooting space for the pre-production of the cartoon series Miracle Friends.
With the desire to help children easily access knowledge about the immune system, thus better protecting the body, 10 episodes are produced in a 2D animation in combination with hand puppetry and graphic effects.
With skulls, bacteria, viruses, red blood cells, neutrophils modeled by hand with creativity and ingenuity, the team has created a rich system of characters. When combined with television techniques and special effects, the puppets become vivid and stand out with their own roles and missions.
Throughout each episode, unusual symptoms of the character Phong such as: fever, pain, dizziness appear. The natural reactions that any child's body has ever experienced are explained by the production team who portray them as a fascinating adventure.
Through clever, charming and easy-to-remember visual language and the simulation of the battle between antibodies and bacteria and viruses, the audience easily grasped the initial concepts of the body's immune system. Through each story, the team wants to convey a meaningful message to the children, "Staying healthy, staying clean helps protect the immune system."
