VTV.vn - During the official visit to Vietnam, Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Stéphane Dion met 250 students from 5 universities in Hanoi on September 5th.

At the meeting, he shared with the students about the role of multilateral co-operation and sustainable solutions to adapt to global climate change.

Vietnam is one of 175 countries participating in the Paris Agreement on climate change last December in Paris. One of the main objectives of the agreement is that, by 2020, developed countries will raise at least 100 billion USD a year to help developing countries switch to using clean energy sources in response to climate change.
