On May 31st the Minister of National Defence met with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and Cambodian National Assembly President Heng Samrin. At the talks, the Cambodian leaders affirmed to support and facilitate the bilateral military co-operation between the two countries.
Later, Mr Lich held a discussion with his Cambodian counterpart Gen. Tia Banh on bilateral military cooperation. The two ministers agreed to work more closely on activities that help strengthen military ties including crime fighting and border issues.
