Budget tourism in Vietnam tourism development in 2020

According to the ranking of Asian budget-friendly cities announced by British Alpha Travel Insurance, Vietnam won three places in the top ten which went to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hoi An.

In 2019, Vietnam welcomed eighteen million international visitors. In addition to maintaining budget tourism, sustainable development for tourism is identified as the main direction of Vietnam's tourism sector to achieve the goal of more than 20 million international visitors in 2020.
