BRT bus in Hanoi runs trials for e-tickets

This is an important phase for the future application of the e-ticket system to the national bus system.

It takes customers only a few minutes to have their own card, and are charged with this card when they get on the bus. In the trial period, 3000 monthly paid bus goers are selected to assess the effectiveness of the system. People who still use paper tickets are given QR code on their tickets to use the bus.

There are now 4 locations issuing these cards, and everyone can apply for free with the bus fee remaining the same. After the trial period, the company will propose a more complete technological solution so e-tickets are applied more widely.
