This was announced on Wednesday at the opening ceremony of the project for people with disability to narrow the digital divide, under the sponsorship of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and South Korea’s Kakao Corporation. The event was held by the Korean Society for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities and the Hanoi Disabled People Association.
Vietnam now has more than seven million people with disabilities, accounting for 7.8% of the population. The IT training project from government and international agencies will help some of them land a job, improve their incomes and connect with other persons with disabilities in the world.
