The Ministry of Industry and Trade conference was held on Thursday in the central region province of Quang Nam. Many obstacles to trade have been pointed out, including poor infrastructure. Businesses operating in these areas are often small-scale, while owners have limited trade promotion and sales experience.
These factors, consequently lead to low-productivity production and low consumption and poor supply of commodities.Many of the contributors said that trade policies dedicated to border and remote areas should be worked out, while regional signature products should be further promoted. Trade ties with neighbouring countries should also be strengthened.
