He made the request at a meeting on the progress and readiness of multi-level schools in border communes on Friday morning.
He called on local authorities and contractors to mobilise more workers and equipment and keep construction running continuously to meet the deadline.
For phase-two schools, provinces with allocated funding were asked to complete the necessary procedures and begin construction in the fourth quarter of this year.
The Deputy Prime Minister also asked the Ministry of Education and Training to work with local authorities to prepare opening ceremonies at the schools.
