Border guards support residents in rainy/stormy season

Thuan An Port has a coastline over 17 kilometers long. A large number of ships and vessels visit this port every year. Currently, two border guard units are quartered at Thuan An Port, including the Thuan An provincial border-guard station and flotilla number 2. Besides ensuring national defense and security, these guards are assisting residents during the rainy / stormy season.

Thanks to the advancement of IT and boat management, border guards’ work has become more and more effective in recent years. Border guards are a vital part of protecting national sovereignty as well as ensuring the safety of Vietnamese fishermen at sea.
