Following the persuasive champion of 18-year-old Ngo Trung Quang, Bolero Idols returns with the new season, bringing remarkable changes for the show and new atmosphere for both contestants and audiences who have interest in folk and country music. Recently, the organizing committee of Bolero Idols has released official announcement for online auditioning on the show’s fanpage.
Accordingly, the candidates register for the show by visiting website www.thantuongbolero.vn and sending a video to the organizing committee recording themselves singing a bolero song. The video requires sharp quality, candidates’ natural and unprocessed voice. Candidates are allowed to perform with musical instruments, with or without music. The videos’ maximum is 5 minutes length.
In order to have a valid register form, the candidate will upload their video on YouTube and send the direct link to the organizer following the form on the website. Each candidate can send more than one video. The organizing committee will process the video and inform qualified candidates as soon as possible.
According to the organizer, candidates who pass the online audition round are exceptionally moved to round 2 of live audition. Information about time, location of live audition has not yet been confirmed.
Bolero Idols is a new talent-searching TV show in Vietnam. The program is eligible for 16 and above candidates, who have great passion for folk and country music. Bolero Idols season 2 is scheduled to air on January of 2017.
