Blood donation campaign in Hanoi
VTV.vn - Hundreds of students gathered in Viet Duc Hospital in Hanoi on Sunday to participate in a blood donation event.
An additional 400 blood units were added to the hospital's blood bank on Sunday morning. As one of the biggest surgical centres in Vietnam, Viet Duc Hospital sees about 200 surgeries every day, requiring more than 400 blood units. The event's aim is to reduce the pressure of the lack of blood for periods of high demand.
