Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, former party chief Lê Khả Phiêu and former state president Nguyen Minh Triet attended the ceremony.
Minh Tâm cement factory has a total capital investment of 550 million USD by Xuan Thanh Group, using German technology provided by the Thyssen Krupp Group.
At the ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised such projects as contributing to the province's economic development, asking them the strictly protect the environment during the construction process. He hoped that the cement factory would be put into operation no later than January 2019, as planned.
