Binh Dinh is the southernmost province of the Central Vietnam Economic Region, strategically positioned to boost regional socio-economic development. It serves as the closest gateway to the East Sea for the Tay Nguyen provinces, southern Laos, northeastern Cambodia, and Thailand. This land has a rich history and culture, featuring numerous famous landscapes and historical sites. Among them, Bai Choi of the South Central region has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The traditional martial arts of Binh Dinh are a national intangible cultural heritage that the government has approved for nomination to UNESCO. Additionally, the Tay Son Tam Kiet Temple, a national special relic, preserves many artifacts and heroic imprints of the hero Quang Trung-Nguyen Hue.
With a 134 km of coastline stretching from north to south, Binh Dinh is blessed with pristine, stunning beaches and renowned attractions such as Eo Gio, Ky Co, Hon Kho, and Cu Lao Xanh. It is likened to a miniature Vietnam, with unique cultural-historical features, diverse ecosystems, and warm, hospitable people.
In recent years, Binh Dinh has hosted numerous large-scale events, including international competitions such as the UIM F1H2O and UIM-ABP AQUABIKE Binh Dinh Grand Prix 2024, as well as the first-ever International Teqball Tournament in Vietnam. The province has also collaborated with central ministries and agencies to organize national events, including the "Tourism, Cinema, and Sports - Proud Vietnamese Identity" program in 2024, the 4th Central Ethnic Cultural Festival, and various other festivals and celebrations. Additionally, Binh Dinh has become a venue for many scientific conferences and a gathering place for domestic and international scientists.
The 42nd National Television Festival is part of a series of activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Binh Dinh’s liberation (March 31, 1975 – March 31, 2025). The festival is a chance for television professionals to meet, exchange programs, and enhance their skills, and for Binh Dinh to showcase and promote its potential and strengths. The provincial People's Committee has instructed relevant agencies to closely coordinate with VTV to ensure the festival’s success. At this point, all preparations are nearly complete, and the province is ready to welcome participants with a high sense of urgency and responsibility. Binh Dinh eagerly awaits the delegations attending the festival, creating an increasingly festive atmosphere as the opening day approaches.
