This is one of 12 facilities specializing in the treatment of severe and critical Covid-19 patients established by the Ministry of Health.
This 3-story building was formerly the Training Center of Can Tho Central General Hospital. The hospital has converted the building into an intensive care center with a capacity of 200 beds.
Oxygen systems and ventilators have been installed. Due to its 200 hospital bed capacity, a 20-ton oxygen tank was also installed and connected to the center's system. About 200 doctors and nurses have been mobilized to operate the center and is expected to go into operation on August 14.
