This is the first wide-body aircraft from the agreement between Bamboo Airways and Boeing / that kicks off a series of wide-body aircraft that will join the fleet in late 2019 and early 2020, making Bamboo Airways the first private airline in Vietnam to operate this kind of aircraft.
This Boeing 787-9 is named "Ha Long Bay". The airline is expected to operate these 4 aircraft on the routes of Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi - Phu Quoc from the beginning of next year to meet travel needs during Tet holiday.
