Flight tickets have been launched in Vietnam on February 5 and in oversea markets on February 10 with the price from 4,556,000 dong ($197)/one way.
Direct flights to the Czech Republic from most of Vietnam airports
From March 29, 2020, Bamboo Airways will officially operate the route connecting Vietnam with Prague (the Czech Republic) and will become the only airline operating the direct flight connecting the Czech Republic and ASEAN region.
Mr. Truong Phuong Thanh - Deputy General Director of Bamboo Airways, said that the airline's first route connecting Vietnam to Europe is operated with two flights per week on Wednesdays and Sundays. The frequency will be increased depending on passengers' demands.

Bamboo Airways also has officially been selling flight tickets in Vietnam from February 5, and from February 10 in overseas markets. According to Airport IS statistics, in 2019, the Vietnamese were the third-largest recognized ethnic group in the Czech Republic with a population of more than 60,000 people. The number of Vietnamese visitors to the Czech Republic has also increased steadily at the rate of over 10% annually. In the ten first months of 2019, nearly 40,000 Vietnamese tourists traveled to Prague by airlines.
Additionally, the demand for traveling to Vietnam of the Czechs’ is also high as the most wanted destinations of Czech tourists to Vietnam are Hanoi the Capital city, Ho Chi Minh city, Vinh city, Da Nang city and Nha Trang city. The peak seasons are spring and summer (January, February, March and June, July, August). In the first ten months of 2019, there were nearly 34,000 Czech tourists to Hanoi and almost 10,000 visitors to Ho Chi Minh City.
In the last two years, Da Nang city has been attracting the attention of the Czech tourists with a sudden increase of more than 400%, from 328 in 2018 to 1,114 in the first ten months of 2019.
According to the Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Ho Minh Tuan, Bamboo Airways' direct flight is considered to not only connect the Czech Republic with Vietnam but also to connect the ASEAN region with the European countries. "The Hanoi - Prague route operated by Bamboo Airways is the only direct route from the Czech Republic to the ASEAN region, a very dynamic area with more than 600 million people. Therefore, this route aims to connect Vietnam – the Czech Republic and connect Southeast Asia with the European Union," Ambassador Ho Minh Tuan said.
